Geo Grid is used as a tie back system to hold retaining walls, usually at heights over 4 ft (depending on wall system) it is installed to act as a tie back, disrupt and disperse the angular slide of the material being retained. Depending on several factors height of wall, weight of block being used determines the strength, distance and placement of the Geo-Grid. When (MSE) walls are not a feasible option, a reinforced slope can be considered. While native soils restrict the angle of construction, SRW Geogrids could allow for a less than 1:1 slope soil structure.
